Anybody know a good way to establish value on this? It has a broken headstock but was reportedly played at Woodstock (don't know by who... Yet). SEE UPDATE BELOW...

Thanks sonic! It actually belongs to my, potentially, future brother inlaw. Someone gave it to him and it had been sitting in a closet for years. The neck had been repaired, but recently came apart again. I played it about a year or two ago and it's got all the cool old Gibson vibe and feel. I was going to borrow it for a week or two and thought I would look up the serial number. Sure enough - it's one of the early ones (1966 by gibson PDF) I think there were only 35 or so of these made (in a natural finish). I'll get my sister to send me a photo to post.

Mystery solved - guitar was not a 67 (typo 66), but is actually a 74 with a serial code # that was used on both 1965-68 and 1974 and 1975 guitars. Still a really cool guitar, but not quite the same value - great players guitar!

Also means "woodstock claim" clearly isn't woodstock 69'
