Why doesn’t any "boutique" companies make graphic eq's?

Lots of parametrics but no graphic. Really just Boss, MXR, Dano, Ibanez.
Right now I use a Dano because it was MUCH quieter than the Boss I borrowed from a friend. But I need a true bypass.
BJ had suggested an older Ibanez, I tried it but it sounded noisy to me also. The kicker is I don't use them to boost frequencies,
only to cut. I guess I could go with modded GE-7 or something but I really like the size of the MXR. Any suggestions and we need
a boutique 7-10 band, true bypass eq. Or maybe some fancy dual 6 band..

Well I always wanted a mid-eq position on the SBEQ
That would certainly be liked by many I would think. But yeah, graphic eq's not so much

The main reason none of us build a graphic is because drill presses can't cut slots and most of us don't have a CNC or industrial punch that would be required to cut the slots for the sliders. The other reason is that a simple 3 band or parametric tends to have better fidelity IMO.
