Off the pedal subject...I need some advise.
Anyone here a financial adviser or really good at that stuff?

I have alot of credit card debt...and I'm getting some $$. I need to figure
out the best places to put the money. I guess PM me if you want the low down.
Probably pretty easy for someone who knows about this stuff.
Thanks in advance!

If it were me, I'd look for a pro credit counselor with good credentials.
Sorry not to help more..hope it works out for you.

Rule of thumb is to pay down the highest interest rate debt first. If you've got multiple debts you might need to adjust if you're having problems meeting simultaneous minimum payments each month. But generally go with the rule of thumb. Good luck! Being debt free is awesome!

Suze Orman will agree with the above post and also tell you to cut up the cards and let them lie unused rather than cancel them. Cancelling lines of credit after paying them off (with debt still outstanding on other lines of credit) can lower your overall credit score. You can check out her advice yourself at http://www.suzeorman.com/igsbase/igstem ... ertiseID=5

Yea, the option of moving some of the higher interest over to 0% for a year offers are in the picture also.
Hmmm...maybe I should just keep the debt and use the $$ for a nice BJFe/Cornish collection!..no..no, just kidding.
I could do that ..but won't.

yup if you can consolidate to a lower rate great - watch out for hidden fees for those transfers tho...

and pay off the highest rate ones after making the minimums on the others

but if you bought well the Pedals could be an even better deal
