I am REALLY trying to get an OLD SCHOOL 21 Mad Pofessor amp!

well, i fell in love with it at Summer NAMM last year. that was the prototype, and there hav been several tweaks and improvements since that model i demoed.

Anyhow, now that we have a Mad Professor USA operation going into full swing, the new "CB" series pedals tearing it up sales-wise, and all things Mad Professor in HIGH GEAR -- it's time for me to finally get the Mad Professor OLD SCHOOL @! AMP!

while i love my Savage VERY much, better than any other amp I have owned in a decade, I am still haunted by that touch responsive overdrive and TONE of the MP OS 21

the 1x12 combo format is perfect for me.

and for ALL my pedal demos, I want to have an OLD SCHOOL 21 to demo all the effects pedals with :love4 :music :joker

we shall see.....maybe soon you will be listening to Bobby D demos thru an MP OS 21 amplifier! :bjorn

I actually tried the CS40 and fell completely in love with it! The MP amps are certainly a thing of beauty :love4 Good luck and hope you get one :)

Ahh...the insanity never ends. Another forum member told me he had absolutely ZERO regrets after selling his Blackface Vibrolux Reverb AND his '64 Vox AC-30 to nail a CS-40...I could do the same with some of my amps I have left(and I have thought about it).
Then there's the OS-21 which would be more do-able and gig-able for sure...yes, that one is tempting as well.

Dammit, :banghead what to do...what to do...

the CS-40 is a WORK OF ART -- that amp is on the level of a DUMBLE, and i am 100% faithful that those Cs-40s will retain their value and appreciate greatly over the years.

the OS 21 is a much more affordable amp, the "working man's Mad Professor" amp. I really wanted the one they had at NAMM last year, but it was a prototype and it was not ready yet.

However -- Bjorn told me he played thru one of the NEW MP OS 21 amps, and he feels they are READY now :music :music :music

and so am i :love4

i am gonna see how things go with the Nashville Amp Show, and wait for Harri & Bjorn to confer after the show. I know these amps are gonna be in big demand. And I will have to let go of my beloved Savage Macht 12x amp, which is the best amp I have owned in YEARS - but I think it will be worth it!

Id love to try BOTH the OS21 and the CS40. If only I could demo on in the states.... :sign_partytime

yes...me too.....the CS-40 os a work of art. Jukka is a master builder. :love4

the mp101 amp was at NAMM, but i did not get a chance to play it, the "noise police" at NAMM were already giving me the "evil eye" when i was cranking up the Old School 21 :joker

and the OS 21 "eats pedals for breakfast" as Bjorn :bjorn told me :pedallove

i am really glad they are finally getting this amp into production, and i want to be playing one of these for all my effects pedal demos and live gigs.

my Savage Macht 12x is an AMAZING amp, and i love it. the ONLY reason i would let it go is to step up to the Old School 21.

Couldn't help but post these:

Check out at 2:22, THAT tone dirty and clean, knob sweeping plain and simple:

And of course B Dizzle doing the same(no pedals at 3:35)...FAT tone through a Strat no less:

those videos from NAMM were with the first prototype, and Sebastian from TGT11 told me that SEVERAL tweaks were done to this circuit after NAMM, and the amp sounds EVEN BETTER now :pedallove :bjorn :joker :love4
