The power-brights really did not impress me in lifespan. Yes, Hawaii is brutal on strings, but these did not last any longer than anything else I've tried. I bought some of the Sliders for the next round and, learned the hard way, you can not use them with a floyd rose trem or in locking tuners - they will unwind at the clamp point. Oh well...
So I'm back on the nickel EB's and I really like them. They're cheap and I am completely satisfied with them tonally and feel wise. Power-Brights were a fun experiment, but I probably will not be buying another set.
