The Flashback isnt available yet. At least I cant find one and I am on the call list for about 4 retailers :D

I have zero delay pedals at the moment and was going to get the Strymon Timeline, and I may someday, but it seems to be way more than I need. I do wish the flashback had easier tap tempo, but it is a pretty small device.

I think the Flashback, if it sounds good, should be a good unit and I like that it has a switchable buffer. I liked the sound of the El Cap, but I mostly used ducking and reverse on my old Nova Delay and the El Cap didnt do that. I liked the DBD, but I am not a leave the delay on all the time kinda guy.

I just wish they would change the Nova to have analog bypass and switchable buffer. Having it convert everything from analog to digital and back again really messes with your dynamics and sound.

Well, I see from your other topic that the flashback is available where you are, so wasn't sure what thread to post this in.
But, if anyone else gets the chance to compare the flashback and DBD first, I would appreciate their review.

I am not normally a leave delay on all the time kind of player either - takes up too much space when playing hard rock in a two guitar band. On for solos only. That being said, I do dabble in some country playing and like the slapback on all the time for that.
