I respectfully disagree. When I think of tone sucking, I think of something that's hard to listen to. While he may not be one of those guys out there chasing tone, his tone isn't bad. In any case, when you can burn up the strings like he can, it becomes a moot point in my opinion. I doubt anyone was complaining about his tone after that.
