I used to play rediculous amounts of Halo 2...Robapov was one of my names in the game...along with Mijian...
I kept Robapov, as it made me feel like a warrior...

Zion is a National Park in Southern Utah. My wife worked there as a Law Enforcement Ranger for about 8 years.
I too worked there some but bounced around the country during that time with my profession. And yes it was nice when I was home to wake up in a National Park.
Now she works for Great Smoky Mountains National Park and I work for the Cherokee National Forest.
Should I change my name to Smoky?

Eskimo Joe's is a bar/restaurant where I went to undergrad. Really awesome place. They have the second most popular t-shirt in the world behind the Hard Rock.

Dark Star maybe? :)

Ill try to make a long story short…
My name is usually pronounce wrong. I get Lawn/Lon a lot instead of Lann(like Ann with an L.)

I guy I used to work with thought it was funny how many people pronounced it wrong so he would jokingly call me Lawn Lucas.

We would work at the job site some days and came across a lot of guy who didn’t speak much English so one of them thought my name was actually San Lucas,,and asked you mean like Cabo San Lucas.

So Cabo sorta stuck as a work name ,,its was just easier for everyone else. Theres another company I do work with and they all call me Dan-O, that’s another story and that name seems too be taken everywhere.

plus I always thought the cartoon mad professor guy could be a Cabo, so I use him as my pic.

Mine's kind of obvious, but it dates back to the early '90s when I had to come up with my very first email account name. It was AOL and I had just jumped back into guitar after really neglecting it for almost a couple decades. That is when I began my tone quest. So I asked myself what I do (I wasn't really talking to myself). Well the answer was, "I Tonefish". Since then I've realised that most view it as a noun rather than verb, so anal as I am, it evolved to Tonefishin. Boring but true!

Cheers!!!

no great story behind mine, just an interesting term. i used to study astronomy back in college, and sidereal time is a way of measuring time relative to the motion of stars.

Yes indeedy! So, will it be chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, or perhaps a snickerdoodle?

though the words "Mirror Ashes" are never actually used together in the song they are there in the lyrics, but the combination of them comes from the 2 disc "Grayfolded" compilation album of a whole bunch of Dark Star jams edited together to make one huge one. The first disc was called "Transitive Axis" and the 2nd disc is "Mirror Ashes."

Great thread :!: :)

I have always had a certain love for Hemingway's short story "Hills Like White Elephants".
In particular, the side of life that those hills in the story stand for. The feelings that they evoke in the main female of the story have always been very inspiring to me as a person/musician.
