Well I run my own website with a message board dedicated to a cool band called Brothers Past, so I spend most of my time there looking after things-- you can take a peek here-

http://www.bpradio.net/theceiling/index.php

It used to have streaming online radio but the costs to run it went through the roof and I was covering it myself so BPRadio has no more radio, haha. Also we used to have 1500+ members but the site crashed completely a few months back so only the hardcore regulars have really returned.

Besides that... well.. I'm a message board addict. I tend to post on a lot of boards to blow off steam from keeping an "admin" like demeanor on my own. I post on TGP, HCFX, the Devi Ever forums, and the D*A*M forums... sometimes some more than others, I dunno, it kind of depends on what kind of time I have on my hands and the mood I'm in. I'm also a political junky so I check out all the news sites and blogs... yeah I'm a liberal so usually my first stop on the net after making sure business is flowing as usual on my board I check out the Huffington Post. I'm a history buff too so sometimes I'll get lost in Wikipedia just clicking from link to link to link and before I know it a couple hours have gone by and I've just learned the entire history of Zimbabwe.

I also really like http://www.themovieboy.com for film reviews. He's a guy my age so I like to support his little endeavor, and they are really well written reviews.

Hmm... I also check pitchfork a lot for music reviews and scour the blogs for new cool bands and such.

I'm a total 'net nerd... and pedal nerd... probably just a nerd in general would cover it
My BJFE- Some special ones. Some standard ones. I love them all just the same.

NO WAY!!!! What a small world!?!? I used to be in a band with Brothers Past's drummer Rick, we were called the Healthy Doses! He is one of the best musician's I've ever played with. He dropped some killer guitar trax on my ep that I recorded over the summer, but I've been slacking, still need to get it mastered. Once I do, I'll send trax your way. He's so insanely talented on both the guitar and drums, it's not fair

whoa!!!

yeah, wow, small world indeed!! I've heard about Healthy Doses! and yeah Rick is absolutely awesome. I love him on drums but he can bust out some mind-bending jazz on acoustic guitar... whodathunkit?

I've been into them since about 2002 and have become good friends with all of them... so cool that you know Rick!! Seriously!!
