Hey guys,

What are you favorite moments in TONE? I mean EXACT moments, as in songs (and even parts of songs if you can get specific)?

Here are a few of mine:

Stay With Me - Faces (the first 6 seconds of the intro and around :30 to :40 when the guitar kicks back in. So gritty and dirty and fundamentally ballsy.

P.25 London - The Black Crowes - in particular the filthy slide intro & the first few seconds of the solo at around 2:18 -- THICK AND GREASY

Whole Lotta Love - Led Zeppelin - in particular the intro (HUGE) and the solo when Jimmy finally starts wailing

Bold As Love, Red House, Voodoo Chile - Jimi Hendrix - whole song, unreal.

To be continued.

opening riff to "Mean Street" EVH.....you KNEW that album was serious from the very first intro.

opening riff to "Lazy". Richie Blackmore.....

Jeff Beck "Where Were You", the entire song!

Intro to "Message in a Bottle" by Andy Summers, possibly the best angular new wave riff ever.

"Lay it Down" by Ratt, Warren DeMartini had the 80s tone NAILED. The opening riff is SICK.

So about a month ago, I got an e-mail with 2 links in it from my brother (if6were9 on this forum) with some chord info.....................

One link was for Sting's "Message in a Bottle" and the other link was to "Timeless" by John Abercrombie (before Sting)...... slow down the Sting guitar part and what do you have, quite possibly a realization that Message in a Bottle was "borrowed" from John Abercrombie

Check it out.........

here's Sting............. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OyfpS6pEcQ

fast forward to 4:08 of song for John Abercrombie Timeless (the prelude to message in a bottle  )...............

:o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

sorry to get a cool thread off track, but thought I'd pass on the interesting info :)
