-Neil Young's "Dangerbird" (from "Zuma")
.electric guitar break in "Strawberry Fields"
- Wayne Krantz's Album "2 Drink Minimum"...the sound on the entire album. glorious. after years i found out it's his old 70's strat thru a Boss Super OD and a reverb into a 65 Deluxe. that album is so f***in great, one of the best "guitar" albums ever made IMO, and its recorded live with a sony stereo mike to DAT tape.

There are too many to list, but here are some that jump to mind immediately:

Allan Holdsworth, Solo on "Three Sheets to the Wind." DAMN!

Jimi - Guitar tone on "Rainy Day, Dream Away."

Rory Gallagher - Solo tone on "Messin' with the Kid" from Live in Europe (73)

Jeff Beck - "Sophie" from the 'Wired' album
