BJFE / BearFoot fx Guitar Effects Community

I picked up some great pedals this year and have been reminded of that by my wife on several occasions. That said, the Model H is probably atop the list of the BJFE line-up although the SWAW is right up there obviously for different reasons. I've yet to A/B the SWAW with the VCF but will when possible.

However,the most versatile and hands down the best dollar for dollar value had to be the Fraternity. You can dial in a lot of tones with that little beast. Granted, you can get yourself into "knob tweaker pergatory" as well. So, based on Slim's recommendations and my ear, I've been trying to find a few good settings for various pickups and volume levels for my rig. If you haven't, I recommend you at least try one!

The Frat does indeed rock!!! Its got a permanent home on my board. I love how flexible it is.

Tough question, have many that are close to the top, but I'm going to go with a tie between the HB Deluxe and the SYOD.

It may not be an exciting newer model, but the PPF has just kept creeping up over the second half of 2008.
AND, to think I nearly f***'n sold it!!!!

I'll also be trying to follow Newark's advice as well, more structured practice, although I think I could have,
probably one new pedal during 2009!
