I bought tix for for what was to be their last tour, which was cancelled cuz Bonnie died...
Never did get to see Zep, what a bummer...

Do you remember that local band Hydra?
Just curious, cuz you're from Fla...

remember the name, but did not see them. i landed there in 82.....and was on the road most of the time during early 80s, so would go see my parents in tampa like 2 times a year, then moved there for a long time in 1986.

out of curiousity- has anyone tried the Trower Overdrive from Fulltone? His endorsement of that pedal is a good sign of good tone. I wonder if its the dynamic but not crappy version of the OCD I've always wanted Fuller to make...

i would think it is pretty good, knowing mike. his fulldrive I #34 was my second "boutique" pedal, right behind my prescription electronics "experience" pedal, ordered from an ad in VG magazine :-)

haven't heard it in person yet, but if Robin likes it, it probably doesn't suck 8)

What do you think about that prescription electronics pedal? I've been tempted to get that one. I like the sound clips of the swell effect that I've heard.

i had one of the first ones they built. it was cool.......the best part of it for me was the "octave fuzz" part.

the regular fuzz was OK.....

and the "swell" function was difficult to dial in.

so for the time i had it, all i used it for was octave fuzz.

i would not recommend buying one for big $$$.....but if you can get one for a reasonable price, it's fun to play with!
