The ONE that got away

Have you guys ever fallen in love with a piece of gear only to let it get away? This has happened to me a few times. Interestingly enough, all with amps, and all due to lack of funds at the time.
Here's a run down of my broken heart items:
1965 Fender Super Reverb --- saw this one in Guitar Center when I lived in Indy. Nothing special about the looks, but this one had that special Super Reverb magic on the inside for sure --- vibe---mojo --- whatever it was, it's the best Super I've ever heard.
50's Tweed Fender -- I think it was a Princeton. Very simple amp. Volume and Tone. Man oh man, did it have great tone, and with it being a small amp, you could crank it and it sounded like heaven. Also at the GC in Indy.
1957 Fender Super Amp -- 2x10. Best amp I have ever personally plugged into. Indescribably amazing. Amazingly enough, someone found it in a dumpster and brought it in to a small shop in INdy and sold it to the owner, who briefly put it up for sale and them decided to hold onto it. I need to call that guy and see if he still has it!
What about you guys? Do you have any that got away?
