here's a pic of Buddy on the cover of GP Magazine earlier that year, with the red polka dot strat.

I probably should of kept THAT ONE.

I asked the Hard Rock to sell it back to me, but they like it too much, and won't sell it back 8)

I'll never see this again,Ritchie Blackmore's Strat.I owned this for 12 years and sold it in a weak moment. It was a great playing strat even though the neck was scalloped. It didn't take long to get used to it.It had all the tricks too!!Image

that is a beautiful strat, and one that must have played "Lazy" a few times.......truly that is one of the only guitars I have seen that make me feel as bad for YOU as I feel for ME for letting go of the Buddy Guy strat

To make it even worse ,I had one of his Marshall majors and a Marshall 100 watt heads. The 100 was used in clubs and they were modded very heavily.

well, then we are BROTHERS in loss

I can always go to the Hard Rock Atlantic City, and see my red polka dot Buddy Guy guitar

I asked, but they won't sell it back to me. Once buddy passes, that guitar goes up to probably triple what they paid for it. It's business...I understand.

I really fell bad for both of you guys, but on the bright side I'm sure you're happy with the axes you're playing now! Right?

If it's any consolation, I let a 66 ES-335 go that really was a fantastic vintage guitar. I've got over it by telling myself
that since it was one of the ones with a thinner neck I wouldn't like it today, as I prefer fatter necks now (doesn't really work  ).
