two things -- what are the settings to get the octave up fuzz from the CAF????

and -- my fave octave up fuzz I have heard in a long time has been the Catalinbread Ottava Magus. Well worth a listen and it's only $110....and VERY small......

To get the CAF into octave mode, set the tone around noon or slightly less. Good luck!

I will try that -- I think maybe because I am using such low output pickups, I am not driving it hard enough to make it go a little crazy.....let me play with it some more.

Is it the typical scenario? neck pickup/10th fret up/octavia style stuff????

there many different subtle settings on the CAF when you get into it..lots of variety with interaction between the nature and fuzz knobs.

I will say the CAF octave setting has been one of the best fuzzes ever to scream thru the mix.
everytime I see a certain sound guy, he always ask,,what about that Candy Ass Fuzz you have. I chuckle and tell him its Apple and hold tight.

I am lucky the CAF came to me -- I was looking perhaps for the PPF, but the CAF was offered by a friend on the other side of FLorida, and I immediately said YES!

Tonight I will be using it a gig, and have it dialed in as my octave fuzz madness sound. It should be GOOD! 8)
