ha, there's a nice anecdote bout that dutch boy and his TONE on John Suhr's website:

"The descriptions of tone are very subjective and can be misleading. Let's consider the primary tone generator! Many people don't want to hear it but it is very true: it is your hands..."

"I was never as so convinced as one day listening to Eddie Van Halen record at his studio. The sound was fat, articulate and every bit his signature tone. When I looked to see what he was playing I was stupefied to see a headless, woodless Steinberger. Not only that but when I checked out the guitar later, the strings were very rusty."

Every guitar i play sounds like me........But i will say this i was in Atlanta last summer trying out some new Divided by 13 combos....Well i decided i wanted to check out this Don Grosh hollowbody-plugged it into a 13/29 and my jaw dropped........and the sound has been haunting me ever since......... :mrgreen:

Guess I'll have to post pretty much the same thing as Doc, but with a few variations.

Mine is Warren Haynes at the Taft Theatre here in Cincinnati, back in 2006. He was playing his usual Les Paul through his Soldano SLO-100. This time though he was using a Tone Tubby 4x12 with the mixed speakers, and had just turned on his Klon Centaur. It was amazing. Just cut through the mix like a hot knife through butter. Amazing sounds!
