I guess I will start with the good news. Since I wouldn't take "no" for an answer Jesse will have 4 different Therapists scheduled to help him adjust to and thrive in Kindergarten! We are still going to spend all the funds from the two guitar sales on further testing and Therapy over the summer.

I have a few items for sale still and even have my Swart AST Jr. up for sale. http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showth ... t=bearfoot I think these prices are the best on the net. I need to add a few fuzz pedals from the collection as I just can not get around to playing them all. Look for an update in a day or two.

I also am selling my Black Arts Sarcophagus and a Custom Lumpy's Tone Shop Led Bender (Tonebender MKIII rather high gain for a MKIII). I'm not sure what to charge yet.

This is a killer amp! http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showth ... ?t=1265489 If you have any desire in the Swart you should move quickly as I may change my mind and not sell it at all. This amp really sounds amazing without pedals and will take pedals really well because of the two way toggle switch. I have actually been getting out and jamming a few times a month and I could use a somewhat larger amp.

I am letting a few boxes go to try and fund an amp I have been wanting for a long time in the 5E7 Bandmaster 3x10. I ran across a guy Keedy Amps who seems to have the same fondness for Tung Sol 5881s and dislike of certain Orange Drops for use in guitar amps: http://www.keedyamps.com/Home_Page.html makes one he calls the Giza which is a cool play on the 3x10 shape. Yes, I am a nerd.

This is truly painful, but some are not getting the attention they need and others are what I can temporarily do without. It turns out one of my twins, Jesse Brown Bear, has been diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder and we need to get help for him before kindergarten starts in the Fall.

Our health insurance is almost non-existant at this time so my Wife is looking for a different job with better benefits. Until then it is cash out of pocket and we are not long on that either thus this sale. I have been here for some time now and am certainly not leaving, so going gift option on paypal can save you lots of money and I always follow up to make sure you got the pedal and it is working correctly after it's journey to you.

First up is one of 12 or 13 MHvTs. This is probably the most refined of the MHs as it seems the trim pot affects the gain far less than a 4th knob does and thus has more upper harmonics.
DSC_1017 10.jpg

There is one small ding on the edge above and right of the LED. The color is all there it looks like a mini-bullet hole through the clear coat. I think this is #8/12 and I do have the original box.

$499 shipped USPS Priority conus and Hawaii with delivery confirmation or Insured. ( Subtract 2.9% if using gift. $484.53) I will consider trading for a Version 1 with the black translucent paint and the H fingerpainted on and a bit of cash.

This has been my #1 guitar for the last 12 years as the arm wear will prove.

The guitar is 7.88 pounds, has the amazing original pickups, 6105 frets that have a lot of life left on them. The neck is heavily birdseyed and has a very comfortable soft V shape with rounded edges. The Custom Shop seldom uses birdseye maple so this is collectable for that reason alone. The neck has been very stable unlike some flame maple necks I have had. You can tell this guitar was played and loved by the immediate comfort when you play it. Comes with clean tweed case, case candy and the all important Certificate of Authenticity! It has always been in non-smoking places and is currently set up with 10 - 46 strings and has been professionally set up.

I do have more photos if you would like them, or if there is a specific part of the guitar you want photographed I can do that too.

SOLD!! THANKS HOWARD!! using regular paypal and we will work out a delivery type that works for you. I will also pay for insurance.
Cash Only! No trades, no lowball offers. I will ship in the CONUS, but I will need to split shipping to other locations. Please add 3% if you are using credit card.

I cant seem to erase these photos. The fuzz is not for sale at this time, but I will sell the tuner for $40 gift.

You have a wonderful child, man.
I'm sure that all will be well, this child has a great family.

Here in my country there is no "health insurance", and the health assistance is free for all. I think it should be the same in all the world, the well-being should be a right of each person, apart from "money".

Come on guys, these pedals are little jewels, and the prices are very honest!

Good luck for the sale! :)
All the Best.

Thank you Andy! Where do you live? I am trying to plot a move out of the USA before the collapse of the Dollar and all hell breaks loose!

My cousin's daughter is living in Boulder now as she is getting her Masters Degree in Music Theory and she came over so my Wife and I could go to see a speaker about Talented and Gifted kids and the anxiety (for the kids) and emotional roller coaster it can be trying to raise them. Our twins are turning 5 in a few weeks and we are really noticing their personalities blossoming! (There is a great BBC series called 7 UP, 14 UP, 21 UP .... 49 UP and so on and they found the interviews they did with this group of children at age 7 was exactly who they turned out to be later in life. A few took a strange turn at the 21 UP interviews, but by the late 20s they were just who they were at 7.)

So, long story short the twins match up with so many indicators discussed tonight that I have two more TaG kids to deal with! I like to play audiobooks while we drive to and from school and last Friday we heard an old Irish folk tale about the youngest son, who was poor at sports, have to stand up to his Father and Brothers about not wanting to play a certain sport and look like a fool. That night he wakes up and has quite the adventure while running away from home. When he arrives home he said he was not going to play, but tell a story at half time. He tells the story of his adventure that night and everyone proclaims him a hero of a story teller. Guess who has suddenly become an incredibly creative story teller over the weekend? Our Brown Bear! And today when I dropped the twins off at PreK I saw Jesse "look comfortable in his own skin" for the first time ever in a public place! It may not seem like a big deal, but if you understood the sleep, and hair, I have lost trying to figure him out so I could help him function better/easier it was an amazing moment.

BTW, the Model HvT is on hold.

A +1 bump for positive parenting and a dad who clearly loves his kids! I am sure everything will be good

Oh wow! An absolute beauty of a guitar. I totally understand why its been your main guitar for 12 years and if I didn't already have a dream guitar in mind I would've PMed you right as you updated this post. You had me at soft V neck.

All the best with your sales!

Great seller, quickly buy that guitar before it's gone!!

Thanks! I do have a guy already interested so it is on hold through tomorrow. The trouble is I set it up to mostly stock specs (original pickups, Raw Vintage springs and a Callaham block and arm were the only changes) and I did a youtube demo for it and now I am getting cold feet about selling it :disgust The only other guitar I have that I am selling for the Bear is my fiesta red Jazzmaster thin skin. I did not put the JM up first because I wanted it around for reference as I build a new one from a $35 blank of sugar pine and a $157 Warmoth neck. I just need a pickguard and a trem and that will be my least expensive build ever.

I'm going to bump this because it is Molly and Jesse's 5th birthday today!

I am still interested in trading my MHvT for the old finger painted MH that have too much bass.

The other big news is the Wife scored a 3 month contract to sell for a company she is interested in! We are hoping that she might get hired on after the contract is up or summer could really suck.

Bump. My #1 guitar has sold and I still have the Model H Custom Shop for sale.

I might entertain trade offers for the MHvT. I do not need any dirt pedals! I am interested in Delay, Reverb and BJFE Model H.
