Now that is cool! :glasses I didn't know about those and obviously haven't seen one before. A lot of people find the production MP SHOD too bright and I have found all the MP dirt boxes too bright and you can't tune it out. The only BJFE I ever had that was too bright was my DRD and strangely it was the only example I had played, so it may have just been the one pedal.

I owned this pedal in the recent past and I absolutely loved it.. At the time I was using a Strat with high output humbucker pickups into a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier with a Roadster head and playing on Channel one. (I have since sold the amp and my guitars that I currently use have low output pickups.) It definitey was not too bright with that setup and it gave a real amp like "stadium" kind of feel to the sound. Donner once commented here in the forum about how we so often remember what sounds we heard at a concert but then can not replicate the same thing at home for so many obvious reasons. This pedal did that for me though. It along with the Model R are the two pedals that my wife would come down and just lounge on the couch as I played because she felt they both had that "I'm at the Rock show with front row seats" feeling to her..
I would have no problem having this pedal on my board if it wasn't already soooooooooooooooooooooo friggin crowded....

Haha! Awesome. Yeah I would definitely keep this pedal if I didn't have to go to the UK to study. It's definitely my favourite "amp pusher" pedals. To me, it improves the tone of my overdriven amp.
