MMMM..SYOD...I can't even try for this one

what is the difference between SYOD v1 vs. v2? and where did the Sparkling Orange OD fit in. I was out of the BJFe loop for a few years.

Check the BJFe library for info on the sparkling orange -- I seem to remember that just being a custom EGDM.

The SYODv1 is a bright biting distortion.

The SYODv2 is a bright (but not nearly as bright as v1) smoother OD. Fantastic for stacking at the end an OD/distortion chain -- better than the HBOD IMO. If I thought I could afford Sonic's v2 I'd be all over it. It's still my favorite BJFe OD I've ever tried (and maybe favorite OD ever but sadly I don't think this one's in the cards for me).

Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.

hello Sonic, hello everyone.

i clicked the link to Your gear list.
2010 i sold You my ALF. you claimed it never got to You.

on Your list it says You bought ALF#1 on TGP. can You provide any proof? because #1 would be mine, the very pedal that "got lost".
the first ALF ever made. the clear finish was my idea.

i dont want to bring bad karma into the forum, but please understand this was a very painful episode for me. with all due respect: i still find Your story hard to believe, but everything would be solved if You can provide me with the TGP identity of the person who sold You the pedal, so i can contact him and ask for its origin.

respectfully - Lars Kutschke / huckleboogie

For those silly enough to care...

When you raised this issue back in the day, Lars, PayPal asked you to prove your claim and what did you provide them with in response to that request? Oh yeah, that's right - zilch, zero, nada, nothing, bupkis! Exactly what you offer now. Unsubstantiated lies (Hey, those are easy to make!), but actual factual proof? Uh, no, sorry, none.

I'm sorry that you're unhappy that PayPal did not find your claim credible due to your failure to provide any shred of tangible proof of your claim to them, but, seriously, this old news is a matter of your issue with PayPal, not me!

And, now, if you'll excuse me... :salute

were talkin about lack of proof. and i repeat myself: please mr. Prove to me, to US, that You bought this pedal on TGP.
instead of coming up with the info i requested -which would have been the best defense and the end of this debate- youre insulting me.

the proof i have: Bjorn himself confirmed that the ALF he made for me is serial #1. the VERY one i sent to You, sonic. is that enough for You?
paypal. i was and am in a bad position, because my fault was not to insure the package when i sent it. because i had never experienced anything like that before. mr. sonic claimed the money back from paypal and of course got it, i had nothing in my hands to prove my case, and the pedal was "lost". what was i supposed to show them? sure: nada. case closed.
but by which other means, if i may ask, did it get into the hands of mr. sonictroubadour? he did not come up with the info i asked for.
did i keep the pedal for myself and sell it to someone on TGP? if that was the case, why dont You give me the name of that person? if i tried to rip You off in 2010, why would i even start this discussion?

i will leave it alone bc i hate to throw dirt in this forum. but my suspicions are confirmed unless i get that info from sonic.
beware of mr. sonic troubadour.

and may i add this pedal was precious to me like no other, but i went thru some stuff and had to let it go. but guess what, i sold it to mr. nice for the same amount i had payed for, in order to my beliefs to stay loyal to Bjorns work and the members of this forum.

one last chance sonic: name the seller.
otherwise i know what to believe.

My point is made. This type of scamming behaviour is intollerable. It also hits a raw nerve with me, having been on the receiving end.
Ebay used to have feedback that matters. Now, unless you send it registered post, anyone like Steve here can simply say that they never received their goods. Payapl and eBat are aware of this and do nothing.
Steve (AKA Sonic Troubadour) is a classic example of someone who has 'benfited' from this 'hole'. Guys, unite and ban him from any of your dealings. Unite, and always claim that you never received your eBay goods, that is the ones sent by non-registerable freight. Its the only way they will take notice. If we are all like Stever here, they will have to put a stop to it somehow. Class action! Stamp out Steves around the world!
I dont apologise for my previous language. I have changed my language so that more may read this. Steve sucks bigtime...

Fortunately I had been warned early. I suspect every deal he made that shipped to him without delivery confirmation and/or insurance had the same outcome as huckleboogie. I hope this is the end, but just like when he was banned, he may reappear under a new name. Really sad. I can't imagine living with myself after screwing a fellow human.
