Donner talked about it in a thread specifically about Cornish pedals a while back. IIRC he said it was like a less stiff/sterile more dynamic version of the G2.

very cool!Thanks!

I don't begrudge anyone from making a few bucks, but this is just ridiculous.

I have had all three side by side and thought the PPF could be made to sound closer to the G2 than the P2. The P2 is like a higher gain ALF or AWF (would love to have one of those again some time...).

While the PPF could sound close to the G2, I still think these are all apples and oranges. The PPF kind of has it's own thing going.

I agree with Donner that the Cornish stuff tends to be more compressed where the BJFE are more dynamic. What keeps me using both has a lot to do with how they both just drip harmonics, wonderful stuff.

I would love to try a PPF someday or any BJF fuzz for that matter. Definitely NOT at that price though. For that price I am thinking I could get a G-2 and maybe a SS-3?

Nice score on the Lil' Liam Fuzz. IIRC, that was JKoeth's PPF from years ago. I think he no longer has any BJFe stuff from the last time I spoke with him. He does have a nice collection of Magic Amps Amplifiers though!

Gracias! Yeah the guy I purchased this from told me it was JKoeth's pedal who named it after his boy. This thing has such a nice wide range of tones in it.. Still jonesin' for an early HBOD but not sure I could part w/ this.

I had HBOD #357 for a few years (11/07-02/10), and it was pretty sweet. I don't think it was an early (dark toned?) one? I do plan on looking into the Bearfoot version sometime. I loved the really low gain tones from this. I never really thought to stray too much from that, but now I wish I would have cranked it!

Jones you should, friends. It took me a year to find mine, but it was worth the wait.
