Hey Guys,

I have a nephew that is an aspiring young guitarist, but the family (like many) is really struggling. If anybody lives in the Denver area and has an old squire or MIM strat kind of thing that they might be willing to do a good deal on, let me know. He's probably going to need a starter amp too.

If I can find the right stuff, I'll paypal and my cousin would pick up in Denver (where they live).

Thanks!

Donnel

Wow! That was fast! I didn't have anything to offer, but would be willing to search and school them on a good Craig's List deal.

I gave my 7 year old his first lesson today! He is using my Wife's 59/60 Fender Duo-Sonic capped at the 2nd fret. We coved the string names and notes, notes to the 5th fret excluding sharps and flats, and we discussed how chord diagrams work. He was amazing, but pooped out a lot faster than I expected. But, that is how he is with everything as he is so smart he has been able to get by being lazy. We found out he had his reading books memorized after the first pass, so he was reciting and not actually reading.
