What a wild price on the duplex. Perhaps there are some out there who consider it a "steal"...

What would you do w/ $4500?

Well if I wanted a duplex. I'd probably buy one and put $3k into other stuff...

But that's just me :shh:

Yeah, I saw that duplex. That guy must have something in his coco puffs to think that price is anywhere near right.

Regarding the TES - the only thing that comes from a DD2 is the chip. I thought the idea that it was a "modded DD2" was long since abandoned. A while back somebody posted photos of the inside of one and it was pretty clear there was A LOT going on inside.

I think it's safe to say that all of us on this site really love tinkering and trying out different gear. Sometimes the more elusive, the more tempting it becomes. I think it's also safe to say, if you are on this site and own a few BJFE, you hold pretty high standards for what you like to hear from your rig.

Thanks for contributing the the discussion... I will still lust for a TES :drooling , but not this time...

That seller from abroad has listed a few times before with the same BS....he also had listed an "MK I" (which there is no such thing, just earlier versions) TES for even more. In one e-mail with about it a while back Pete had informed me of his disgust with that nonsense, and the other seller is just playing the typical, slightly under-priced "bargain" game...and you guys well know, it only takes one sucker, or two heated emotional twits in a bidding war to create abusive new pricing on this stuff. :thumbdown:

:confused2 yeah, that is almost offensive... He also joined TGP and guess what his first post was? I think it's kind of standard fare to see used Cornish pedals around $900 and the duplex around $1500, don't know what that guy is smokin.

Between the EC and the 80s I essentially have 5 different delay settings at the stomp of a foot. I'm sure the TES is wonderful, but, at the moment, I don't want to have to part with my EC to do it. I'll wait for a better time in the future.

What is a EC and delay 80's? thanks :confused2

EC = Toneczar Echoczar
Delay 80's is a model of delay made by Providence.
