What makes the King of the Britains so special? I have heard a lot about it, but have never played one. I may be buying one soon to try out.

It is another Marshall Plexi-type pedal, and it does it pretty well. I had a few different versions and prefer the 5 knob. They can be difficult to track down. Jason Wade from the band Lifehouse has used one for years, so his fan base is often quick to buy them up.

My only beef with it is it steal some of the low to mid fatness from my sound. When it is mixed with a full band it sounds great, but on its own it sometimes feels thin. Obviously a good EQ can also fix this.
