Have you tried the Sky Blue Overdrive? Might make you happy til you find one of those. They are almost never on sale. Maybe once a year or so!

I used to own a sky blue and was thinking about adding one back to my board, but I thought I'd look around and see if I could find an aqua marine first haha.

Hahaha is right. If you do, it'll be in 1K range though. There are a few high-profile buyers out there just waiting for one. And they've been waiting for a while ....

I knew they were rare but I didn't realize anyone would be willing to spend that much on one. I could understand that possibly for a one off custom circuit....but a pedal that's a part of the mp line? sheesh.
Sky blue overdrive it is for me. I didn't imagine getting one for any less than around five hundred, but I'm definitely not going to drop that kind of money for one.

Nah, I had my AMWM posted here for quite a while and ultimately sold it for around $650 I think. Still, there's no reason to get the AMWM. The SBOD is identical. It wasn't really my favorite BJFE anyway (though I worked pretty hard on the contest to "win" it).

Yeah, I was gonna say I thought, $650 was more in the right ballpark, maybe a little more, maybe a little less.

Yeah but how long ago was that juston? I'm betting that if one came to be available now it would probably go for 800$ at least. If there's competition between two buyers it could go for 1K. Its obviously not for the sound. Its for collection purposes. But who knows, I may be wrong.

True, esp on ebay...no reserve auctions with competing bidders can pull some pretty high prices.

Last year, maybe? I don't remember. The pedal market is not very strong right now, at least in my experience as a seller. I have not been able to fetch the prices I was getting in 2008. At any rate, it's all academic until one actually goes up for sale. For those not interested in the collector's value, I'd recommend the SBOD.
