Sorry you still haven't sold your AWF :banghead but it certainly isn't my fault. I offered to meet your asking price with no haggling or lowballing and with a payment issued via the method you require but I guess that the dollars of forum newbies aren't welcome :(

So I bought a DRD from someone else who thought my money was just as good as anybody else's money.

If you change your mind you know how to contact me!

That is certainly not a great first post here friend, and something that should be between you and the seller via PM and/or e-mail, not aired here on the forum. Everyone has a right to refuse a deal from someone new, especially if they have no references(unless you do of course).

New forum members are always welcome here and are amongst good company, and we are happy to answer any questions you may have, so maybe you might want to rethink your approach.

FYI, The DAM site(if you are familiar with it) has a new 25 post policy before anyone can post ANYTHING to buy or sell, and I think we should adopt one as well. Certainly no offense intended.

Just curious, why would someone need references to buy? Wait for payment to clear before shipping, done. Also, a 25 post limit before posting in buy/sell doesn't stop someone from contacting a seller.

Good to have references on both sides--builds a stronger community of reliable people--I always offer mine when looking to buy. And, yes, and 25 post rule doesn't stop anyone from contacting the seller...it's just precautionary, and with the fair amount of shady deals/scamming/charge-backs, you can't argue with that, can you.

Congrats on your DRD purchase! Like I stated during our PM's I certainly meant no offense. As stated in our prior PM discussions, I was uncomfortable with the fact that you wanted to use someone elses paypal account to pay for the item, and that you did not have any references (on here, TGP, HC, ebay etc) plus a 0 post count. To me that is a lot of red flags. That has nothing to do with your character, and I meant no offense by it. You might be the nicest, most honest guy in the world. But when buying and selling on internet forums, you have to be cautious and use your gut...and thats what I did. The AWF is still for sale. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to make any offers!

Classy response Johnson and, no doubt, part of the kind of character that keeps this site what it is! That fine pedal of yours will find a good home soon enough, I'm sure of it!
