Amperex EL84s sound more bouncy, punchy and growly than its Mullard conterpart. Mullard EL84s sound more creamy and brown.
RCA red base 5691/ 6SL7, test new but is slightly used. Close balanced sides.Very quiet and sounds great. The only quiet, non-microphonic 6SL7 around for guitar amps. $45 each
