It's possible that what he wants to pay

what someone else needs.

not you won't.
I think Bill knows the market and his own mind on all the above.

I dont agree with the top dollar comment though it is often true for the rare pedals. I posted I was willing to pay $285 for a SWAW and some guy offered one with missing paint on the bottom for $240! When I first started looking for BJFe pedals I posted a lot of WTB ads and picked up everything on my list for below what I would consider Market Value". I suppose The Force was with me

I too am looking for a CAF, but in the current climate I am going to wait for Bjorn to make a new one.

Ya know the euro continues to fall today...

I think being patient is going to pay off moreso these days with rates falling like this. Of course who knows, things may reverse and the euro may strengthen or at least outpace the dollar...

Simon...sheer brilliance, what can I say.

If pictures can paint a 1000 words, then THESE pictures AND words should be read 1000X(or least a 100)

Hey Bill,
Hang tight...I got my 2nd CAF(after regrettably selling the first), which is an early one, w/black writing like the one on Craig's list that just sold, for $335 shipped back in Dec of '09, and it's in very good condition.
There's the stuff we all know as rare, then there's the smoke screens that sellers will sometimes put up like this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/BJFE-BJF-Candy-Appl ... 255af50755

These are ready-made for uninformed suckers...it's not a one off, not even in mint condition to justify that price...yeah, anyone can ask whatever they want..doesn't mean whether it sells or not that, that becomes the new high.

And in the dynamic of the market, there are many layers to it, and even in the best of times where the dollar is strong, you may have a tough time finding one at your price, BUT, then again, even now with the economy being what it is, you may find the score that you're after...no one needs to be dictated to.
