same here. I really feel like Sonic does. It is an interesting pedal for that "Wall Of Rock" sound. I think no other pedal comes to that level better than the CliffHanger seems to do. If I really wanted one, the extra tone control does seem like an extra incentive that's all. And yeah, like sonic, way too many purchases recently.

i'd like to think that it would demand that much at least (as i've got one  ) but it depends on what people are looking for. most have NO CLUE what a cliff hanger sounds like, as there are just not that many out there. put some clips in with it and you should have it sold in no time. i know that ebay is scary, but with that fuzz up there, a $600 rarity might actually move (people see that some are willing to pay $900 for a fuzz thats just as rare as the v.1 cliff hanger...). myne isn't going anywhere, and its a v.1 i can get the eq out of my amp.

I agree... Price is fine. Would love to try it but can't afford it right now. Just bought a memory lane. I sold a SWF here a couple of months ago for $575 and it was up for a week or so before it sold.

some good quality audio (dont care about video) would be good. I am intrigued but there is so little out there to sample what it sounds like.

Low gain setting sounds nearly identical to Back in Black ear AC/DC. Higher gain settings takes you to a GNR Appetite type of place. If I had the capability to make a recording, I definitely would.

I sold mine for within twenty-five dollars of the same price about six months ago, so I'd say you are right on target Matt!
As I remember it took about two weeks to find a buyer, so you should have no prob...good luck!

I agree w/ most on this thread that it is neither lack of demand or price.

I just played through my CHV1 (SN # 08) and LOVE it!

Here is a thread that might help a prospective buyer learn more about CHV1

http://www.bjfe.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=712

BTW, I don't miss a tone knob at all. It sounds "just right" to my ears.

Tons of volume and great range of distortion. AC/DC (in the lowest distortion setting btw) to GnR/A4D is pretty spot on and plenty of gain left on tap.

Given rarity of CHV1, unique finish and awesome tone, your asking price is in the ballpark IMO.

Honestly, I've been intrigued by the CH and am really tempted, but I'd always thought more about VII. I quite like tone controls. That sounds in the ballpark that customshop-y stuff goes for though.

I think the CH1 actually has a touch more of the raw Marshall edge because it doesnt have the tone control - and the CH into the HB is an amazing rock stack~ solo and rhythym.... probably the best crossing of crunch dynamics and sustain I have... 8)
