For what it's worth, if you have a SBEQ, you don't need the tone knob. You can get lots of variation just by using the SBEQ.

i just sold my SBEQ :cry:

but my CHv1 lives on and forever will. and i'll probably get another Sea blue in the future

I would guess the tone control is useful for people who often use 2 guitars, say a LP and a Strat?
Just easier to tweak the tone down a bit on the pedal for the Strat rather than going over to the amp.
But, I'm in that phase of life where piecing treble really gets to me, and will put me into a rage, but
I'd still buy this CH if I had the spare cash.

I mean, you've still got the tone controls on the guitars, although they are not as good as BJ's tone controls. :)

How did you find it EJ if you changed from one guitar to another?
