Bjorn, you are most welcome! It was my pleasure to provide you with a jen-u-wine Cheesehead from the land of sausage, beer, cheese, & the Green Bay Packers!
Just a humble token of my appreciation, from the shores of Lake Michigan, where the finest north american Lake Michigan lutefisk is found!
Along with rock hard traveling fruitcake, aluminum foil chaps, & big hair...

Wearing a cheesehead is FUN, even for a globetrotting, amp & pedal building UBER GURU!

BTW, the new amp sounds fantastic, but what I really want to know is:
Can it flap the pants? Or chaps?

bjf-crazy wrote::mrgreen:  bj -thanks for the clip!!! and now the amp is on the top of my list!!! Oh WHAT CABINET AND SPEAKERS WERE SEB USEING?? The tone was -amazing

That was a TUBEWONDER 212 cab with 2 Eminence Private Jacks. The cab is oversized, 25% open back, the opening is vertical. 15mm baltic birch sides and back, 19mm MDF baffle, speakers placed diagonally.
The cabs exact dimensional match with the MP is purely coincidental or perhaps a result of telepathic connection between Bjorn and me, but it did surprise us both.

Well. it's a pleasure to finally be here.

I was going to post a new thread but thought this fits in good here too.
Apparently the 101 does exsist. But from what I understand there has only been 2 made so far, one is in the US and one in Sweden as seen on the fuzzshow demo vids. Hopefully more will be coming soon as its been quite a pleasure to play. So anyhow here are few pics of the 101 and some intial thoughts after being very fortunate to play it for a few weeks.

I had a little doubt about using the single channel eq with 2 different channel gain settings but it somehow seems to work fine unlike any other amp Ive tried setup like this. I can imagine it taking along time to tune the eq so it works really well with two different signals.
So you basically have the same eq settings for distortion and cleans thats quite unique yet works wonderfully.

Both channels have a great range capable of cleans and distortion but Ch2 has a bit more umph and drive to it so I have been using that as the designated distortion channel.
Ch1 I have set to a cleaner setting to react to slight breakup when really digging in.
Someone in a cheese hat mentioned its like having two distortion channels that can do also cleans nice if you wanted.
An interesting way to think about it so one doesnt get caught up in defining one channel as specific.

Imagine the power of a nice hiwatt, sparkle and chime of a vox or twin, and distortion of a marshall all wrapped into one amp.
Not to say it sounds like one in particular as it very much has a voice of its own, but retains a lot of the great qualities that Ive come to love from other known amps. One of the other greatest things I found with the mp amps is they allow you to find an amazing tone of your own,, if one desires.
Also you don’t really have to crank this amp either for it to sound good. It will do lower volumes distortion just as well which was suprising for a 101 watt amp. 8)

Overall the 101 is a more simplified playing approach,,and a much easier amp overall to plug and jam. Still built with the same standards and detail of the 40 and it also addresses some of the things that the cs-40 does not do.(channel changing, more watts, simplified approach). So if ever asked too,,yes you can turn it up!
Cobra was asking earlier if it could flap the chaps, and the answer is yes be prepared for flight.
The cs-40 seems more demanding of an amp to set and play. Tons of options and very dynamic making it hard to leave on one setting. Really quite complementry to each other, I cant see finding use for any other amp at this point. Both extremely versitle amps.

Ive only been able to try it with one cab set up so far(4x12 eminence redfang/private jack combo),, and its really hard to find any faults with it yet. Excellent job to all the MP crew! Another fine creation. :D :D
