There isnt a BJFe or MP chorus (yet).... but what are your favorites ???

I enjoy the Analogman bi-Chorus, the ToneCore Space Chorus and an old Arion Fat chorus for different things

I liked the AM chorus with deep toggle and higher voltage.,, I also had a nice sounding chorus which might have been tube driven that the ada rack mount preamp had, very warm and full sounding.

I like to use 12volts, I think you can run it up to 16v. I remember reading that the stereo unit might not take the higher volts, be careful!

I was cruising the Analogman chorus site today and came across this:

"Most guitar effects are made to run on 9 volts, because 9V batteries are small and popular. But the chips are not really designed for 9V and will run and sound better at higher voltages. We sell an optional 12V adaptor for any of our chorus pedals. Higher voltage will give more clean headroom before distortion, more clarity, and maybe a little deeper chorusing. It is especially beneficial if you run a hot (loud) or distorted signal. These adaptors will also work great on our tube screamer mods (especially the SILVER mod) and older Boss pedals which specify the ACA adaptor. You can use the ACA (12V) output on PedalPower2 for our chorus pedals. The Mono chorus pedals can handle up to 18V max but 15-16 volts is the optimal voltage. Our chorus pedals with the Stereo Relay switch should not be run at more than 12V or damage to the relay could occur. " hope this helps.

Well, if there were a BJFE Chorus, I would picture it having:
?Speed
?Volume
?Blend
?Nature knob - with the nature dialing between the TC "Shimmer" and "thicker" (AM? ) style of Choruses.

Cobalt Blue Chorus?

Anyway, that's my little daydream of a BJFE chorus.

yeah Speed, Depth and Mix, maybe a trim for volume set/forget... its amazing how much difference that mix knob makes ....

I owned both the Analogman Clone and the Fulltone Choralflange. I sold both. They both had good things going on but I found that the Fulltone was too sterile and thinned out the tone and the AM was too dark for me. This is from memory as it was a few years ago.

Maybe the problem is that so many choruses are so dated and have a hard time getting out of that rut.

If Bjorn designed one I would be curious to try it. It would be more versatile to me if it had both chorus and flange on the dial. A 3D tone that didn't thin out the sound or have too much phase cancellation would be good. I hope that makes sense.

I would think that it would only need a speed, mix and nature control.

I still have my Jacques Meistersinger and use it quite often. It attains the chorus sounds that I favor, like Andy Summers and The Pretenders. Maybe not quite as flangy as some of those tones, but close for a regular chorus pedal. It's got a good vibe going for it, and it plays well over clean and distorted tones. I really haven't felt the need to look at another chorus pedal...although mine is starting to get pretty beat up now.

I would definitely look at a Bjorn designed chorus, if that ever happens.
