This seems to get the least "talk" of any of the BJF's. I don't know why. Maybe someone can explain. There's clearly many out there, they have long waiting lists. Any given week I think it's the most versatile pedal I have. It seems to never leave my board. I can't say that about any other pedal even BJFs. There, that's my two cents.

I've said it before in other places, and I'll say it again here. The Dyna Red Distortion is my *favorite* distortion pedal of all time, ever. I agree, you don't hear as much about it as the other models, but that may be because a lot of guys these days are more into "lower gain" sounds ... not too many of us "arena rock / guitar hero" guys left, I guess. LOL!!!

Right, I didn't mention that before. The dynamics and the player's ability to control distortion level simply with pick attack (at drive settings at or below 1:00) is unbelievable. That is one of the main reasons I love it so much, in addition to the "arena sounds." At certain settings, you really could just leave it on all the time, depending upon your desired application.

Simply an amazing pedal. Definitely the best distortion pedal I've ever heard or used.

Make'n Music, here in Chicago, has a Dyna Red in stock. I tried it out yesterday and really liked it, but I needed a clean boost and couldn't afford to buy both. I know Make'n Music will do mail order, so if anyone wants it, give them a ring. http://www.makenmusic.com

...And, Make'n are among the best guys in the biz. Super-great store, with customer service and support that are unrivaled IMO. My all-time favorite store, actually.

+1000 for Make 'n Music. 312-455-1970, ask for Teddy (owner), John, or Shane........
