BJF 'Logo' contest

Postby Donner » Sat Mar 29, 2008 12:30 pm

So the new site move seems to be sucessful so lets have a contest to come up with a little 'Logo' in the corner where the 'two thumbs up' logo is now....

Prize will be a T shirt...

and once I figure it out I can rotate the entries in that spot for awhile....

Ill give the space particulars soon .....

just get the juices flowin' 8)

Might be cool to use that pic that justonwo created for the AMWM contest. If you cropped the 2nd picture, so it was just the circle w/ the 5 pedal pie pieces that might look cool. Definitely looks awesome on a large scale.

This is interesting stuff. When I think about a logo, I think of it as a visual representation of the brand. The logo should capture the core essence of the brand and communicate it in a simple, memorable, distinct way that is ownable.

So that begs the question:

What is the core essence of BJFE?

In other words, if you had to say what BJFE stands for in a word, or short phrase, what would you say?

Now remember, you can't say things like "best pedals". That's not ownable. Others could make that claim (although they'd be wrong). :)

Thoughts???

I'll share mine later so I don't sway the conversation too much.

Well, here's my best effort. I tried to match the Baby Blue Overdrive color.
