I like the EGDM, but I was thinking about getting into different amps some day other than a Voxy inspired amp. Would the SBOD be a good canidate?

Luckily all my other BJF's are safe now

IMO, the SBOD is by far the most versatile overdrive/distortion that Bjorn has come up with, so I think you can get plenty of tones that are not reminsicent of the EGDM.

Yeah I think it grazes thru EGDM territory but goes in other directions , I think it also covers a bit of t he Dumble singing tone in its upper range -

I will second that. It's the most versatile of the BJF pedals I have.

Hi guys!

First post here from a new MP/BJF fan! Well, I tried the SBOD out but I guess I didn't have enough time. With my stock '71 Tele and '66 Super Reverb it sounded too bright and ice picky... and I did roll down the tone on the guitar etc.

I'mdying to give this pedal an other go because fundamental tone of the pedal was perfect for me. Any tips on taming the high end or presence to be precise?

I'm using a Fender Super Reverb (1966) with the stock Oxfords.

Ok, I have one on order. So the Sky Blue will be useless to me without the SBEQ?
