New MP Pedals Rock!!

Here are some initial impressions of some of the new MP Pedals!
I recently borrowed a SBOD proto and bought the MP Trem and MP Phaser.
The SBOD is a fantastic OD. Just watch Fatback's Video on TGP. Although he makes everything sound great, the SBOD is a real winner. It has to be the most transparent of all of the BJF/MP Drive and Dist boxes I have tried. Whereas some of the others seem meant to have a distinct flavor, the SBOD is far more universal and flexible. It lets the guitar and amp come through even more naturally than many of my other Bjorn creations and has the same feel we are used to. Where the HB excells at syrupy warmth, the SB balances great clarity and sparkle with a warm tone too. It can even sound like a treble booster depending on how it's dialed. It can really sing too with plenty of drive on tap. I really dug it!
What can I say? As simple as it is, I love tremolo and the Mellow Yelow Trem is killer. There are lots of great Trems on the market. I have only owned a few. I found the Fulltone Supa-Trem too sterile while the Original Demeter Tremulator had an amazing vibe but colored my tone even when off. Many have loads of features that the MP does not but then again, Bjorn seems to focus on killer useable tone and vibe and has nailed it with the MYT. My trem search is over. The vibe and feel of this pedal are phenomenal. There is alot of range in the depth knob and the boost is a well thought out asset. There is an added sparkle when using it. It's truly addictive an melts into your amp and guitar.
The Tiny Orange Phaser just arrived yesterday and I love it. The only other Phaser that I have owned was the venerable Toneczar Halophase. Again, there are phasers out there with more features but every inch of the TOP is usable and easy as hell to dial in. The Toneczar was phenomenal but seemed to thin out my sound in certain settings. The TOP keeps everything in tact and is a blast to play. There is great range in those three little knobs. It is full and thick and easy to find settings that are great. I thought I wasn't a phaser guy but this one has won me over.
After owning so many of BJ's drives, dist boxes and fuzzes, I must say that his modulation efffects have a special magic that has to be heard. Much like the MGMV, there is a quality to them that is really special.
Great work, Bjorn! I can't wait to add the MP VCF to my lineup!
