yeah the TOP does the Folk phasy wah voice on the left side,,then when you swing to the right its a whole other Uni-vibe feel and sound.
The FF seemed a little brighter in its voicing and resonance,, but not a huge noticeable difference.
FF can go alot slower in speed which I wish the TOP did, but still amazing.

JKeoth was right when he said there are TONs of shades in this box.

btw happy leap day everyone :D

I take romours with a grain of salt.... LGW is another tube screamer. Not even close. I love my original early 80's ts9. I a/b'd with a recently accuired Mp LGW. And my ts9 sounds like a very thick blanket thrown over my rig...My first impressions to my ears the LGW is a different OD all together. alot more gain on tap and the body adjust yeilds phatness to focused mids, theres alot of "sweet spots in that adjustment. kinda like a nature adjustment but more suited for this pedal and design. No screamer type compression that I can tast either. I find the LGW is close to the EGDM more than anything, I can dial the EDGM close to the LGW, but not the other way. more conclusive report when I more time with. But so far, I dig it. I do regret getting rid of my Deep Blue, have to find another....

yeah the LGW actually IS a TS, thats why its not gooped - its just that BJ fundamentally changed/tweeked everything about it ..... imagine what he can do with an original discrete circuit 8) oh yeah thats his other pedals

Got the Tiny Orange today. I'm keeping a running report on TGP along with a Cusack Tap-A-Phase that I got today as well. So far, so good. The TOP is voiced as nice as any phaser I've ever heard. Check out my ramblings on TGP for some more impressions.

I have listened to the clips of the TOP on thesegoto11 about 10 times, because I like the sound of that little phaser so much!

Those clips were enough to sell it to me, and I will definitely be looking to buy a TOP.

Hi,

This is an interesting recording using a standard Japanese Tele>Sky Blue OD> power amp (effects return) on an MP CS-40 > 1x12 Eminence Private Jack:

Sample played by Sebastian Nylund

Have fun
