BJFE / BearFoot fx Guitar Effects Community

Hi, anybody have any experience comparing these two?
I have both but am thinking of ditching my Brown Source because I feel the Honey Bee pretty much covers the Brown Source ground.
Any thoughts, suggestions, warnings, ideas, feelings? whatevers?

I have never tried a Brown Source, but my opinion is that you could sell that pedal on ebay or TGP and make a lot more money off of it that it's really worth, especially if you're feeling that your HBOD is covering the same ground.

I had a Lovetone Doppleganger for awhile, but it wasn't nearly as awesome as I had hoped it would be, so I got rid of it.

Well if the HB covers the same ground as the Brown Source, then I am
even MORE excited about getting the HB I bought on TGP the other day.
With that and my CAF I can forget about selling my Big Cheese!

I recently aquired a Big Cheese too but am not sure how into it I am.
WARMTH you have Toasted Cheese right? Are you keeping it?
I think the D*A*M and BJF stuff are just OUT OF THIS WORLD and super inspiring.

I have both and will keep both. I love them equally and I while I will agree that they cover some of the same territory, they are really quite different.

Just want to add that I think that the Big Cheese and the Brown Source are my favorite Lovetones.
I am also quite keen on the D*A*M and BJF pedals. Some day I hope to add a few ToneCzar pedals to the list.

Please articulate the differences between the Brown Source and the Honey Bee if you have a few moments.

Yeah, I'm keeping the Toasted Cheese. I'd be a fool to give up a one-off D*A*M pedal. My only gripe about it is that it could use more output volume, but my understanding is that that is the way the original was, too (slightly lacking in output volume). I'm going to use it for recording purposes.

Now that I have had a chance to really take both of my newly acquiured
pedals (The CAF and the HB) thru their paces, I can say without hesitation that when used together, both of these BJF pedals will do everything the Brown Source and Big Cheese
can do.
