I like having the drawings; keeps things interesting and lets everyone have an immediate chance at ownership.

But, I also like the idea of waiting lists for those items that you feel will be produced in, say, numbers of 10 or more. I haven't been a member all that long and know there must be several folks who have been on the Forum for a while and waiting for certain pedals. I don't know how they might feel if everything goes to drawings.

If, on the other hand, its easier for you to manage the whole thing by doing drawings, then you should consider it as none of us know the hassles involved with managing and maintaining the wait lists.

Bottom line is, I think we can all live with whatever choice you make. Of course, you will want to get more feedback from some "long timers" who have been waiting patiently in the wings.

Yeah I can see both sides of it...
Im sure all the people who have been picked prefer the drawings

The drawings work well for new designs - when we need someone newly interested.....

people who have been sitting on a list for many months can have a skewed opinion sometimes....

theres no right answer - either way some will be happy and some wont..... just curious what y'all are feelin on the subject...

I think for one-offs and truly rare limited dist, drawings are good.

For pedals that are going to be made for a while, I would favor a list. At least that way you know you'll have a chance to buy at some point, rather than trying to rely on blind luck.

In any case, it'd be nice to have some sort of filter (a fair one) as to who could win a drawing. It is good to see new faces on the forum, but if a guy with 1 or two posts won the right to buy a pedal, that would seem kind of unfair in light of the rest of us die-hards. :) I know that sounds selfish and it is, but as the saying goes....just sayin'! :)

Also, for someone who wasn't opposed to being shady, what would stop a person from creating multiple user names using different emails and entering the same drawing multiple times?

most creative trade,,,I would trade my arm and leg,,,well just the leg,,I need my arms for playing.

Im kinda used to a list and waiting for gear,,it doesnt seem that bad especially if you were to compare wait times.
One probably has a better chance of say signing up in the first five when a list is opened than he/she would winning a drawing.

maybe the most unskewed opinion for R/D would work best in the Mystoury set up? no preconceptions at all.

cabo is 100% right on!!....a tourbox

this would be they best way to get alot of good feedback...as long as the box keeps moving...more feedback from different people...thats what your looking for anyway....isn't it?...

maybe raffle off a couple and have a list on the side as well...
