Cudos to donner and the great tone to come

Postby williamh » Tue Jan 22, 2008 12:57 am

I'd been wanting to try the honey bee out for a while, and had just been waiting for one to come along for the right price. One popped up today on the gearpage. It in pretty rough shape cosmetically, most of the paint on the back is missing, and its got some pretty decent scratches on the front. That being said the one thing that bothered me the most was that one of the knobs was non original and didn't look like the others. I shot an email over to donner to ask if I could buy a replacement from him or if he knew where I could buy one, and he simply replied asking for my mailing address and said he'd send me one. I realize that some may view this as kind of small, but I thought it was really cool :). Thanks again to you donner. The best part, because it was pretty roughed up, I snagged it for $275 :D

I'm getting pretty psyched.

Altogether now ... "For he's a jolly good fellow!"

Donner's a great guy, it's no accident either that his benevolence and philanthropy are such a perfect match for the BJFE brand. He and Bjorn are two of the kindest, most humble folks you could hope to meet in the web.

It's a miracle they can even walk through a doorway together ...

DR: "After you, Bjorn"
BJ: "No, after you"
DR: "I insist, you first"
BJ: "No, I couldn't possibly"
DR: "Be my guest"
BJ: "Seriously, you first"

etc, etc, etc, :P  :P
