EXCELLENT review Pic! After playing thru my CH (which I STILL cant believe I own!)for the last few weeks, I am realizing more and more how much of a tremendous pedal it really is. Some pedals are easier to describe for me than others, and so when someone else writes a review sometimes it is easier for me to agree or disagree with that review than write one of my own. Mr. Picard nailed every thought I have had about the CliffHanger. Its like he was reading my thoughts exactly about everything. One thing I will expand on is the pedals unique ability to seperate my guitars frequencies while distorting them. I guess some people would use the word "Dynamic" to desrcibe this feature. Its like having another gain stage for your amp. That is one thing I have noticed about most all of the BJF pedals, they all seem like they have two major things in common: Not only are all of them eq'd superbly, but they also act a lot like another gain stage to your amp instead of coloring the sound like other brands of pedals as Mr. Pic said. Also, I did notice this dynamic quality stand out more with my single coil guitars than with my HB equipped axes.
I think after I first got it and played it for a couple days I wrote a short review somewhere on the site that said it reminded me of the "Wall of guitar" sound very reminescent of the first "Boston" album.
