Intra-BJFE Forum Temporary Swap/Borrow Ring

Postby zion » Tue Jan 01, 2008 6:54 pm

Any interest from the tribe on a BJFE-Forumite temp. swap ring? There are several pedals I'd like to try, and this would be a way to accomplish it. I'm thinking more of the custom-shop and/or more rarish standards but any BJFE pedal could apply. Not putting them all together in one lump, just getting a sort of pedal-for-pedal temporary swap (1 week?) ring going. Any thoughts or ideas about this? Maybe just a post in the buy n sell such as "WTP: (Want To Play) BJFE Model H - Have a Snow White Fuzz or a Baby Blue for switch.

i think this is a great idea. Swapping pedals could narrow down what i would like to buy and save some time/money. another upside is more reviews of r and d pedals.

Sure thing - and if you guys want to organize a Tourbox have at it - if 4 or 5 of you want to put in one each and send it around have at it.... best to keep them small can do a round robin also

A > BA > CBA > DCBA then each person pulls there pedal out when it comes by
DCBA > DCB > DC > D done

3 ways are even quicker....

is anyone at all interested in this swap? I have a ppf i would be willing to swap, and zion said he could contribute a saffron yellow tremolo, Model R and maybe a CAF. I think we need 3-4 pedals to make this worthwhile.

Eric/Zion,

Donner has done this sort of thing several times so I say we take his suggestion on doing the swap keeping it to one pedal each with three to five participants; at least until we figure out how this is going to work.

I need my gear until the middle of next week but then I can contribute my EGDM, CAF, Folk Fuzz, or Sparkling Yellow OD.

I'd like to try the PPF and the Saffron Yellow Tremolo. Would also like to sample a Dyna Red or Model H.

Fellas,
I'd be happy to contribute, but for the next few weeks I'm probably going to be out of the loop as I'm off to visit my Dad in England for a little while.
Definately up for it on my return Stateside.

Nice hook up guys - show us the way ; ]

You might want to get that CAF in thier too just to have them all - Fuzzaramolo 8) you could each do 2 pedals if you like ...

( I might be able to add something to your circle )
