Ah good, yes some people get frantic that they dont have the latest version and think the 'old' ones are no good anymore

Frantic is a good thing. My experience about the latest stuff is exactly the opposite. But I guess you're just funny here now Donner. It could also be a few reasons why some old stuff "sounds" better. It could be the same as with wine, whisky and burn in time.

You know this is very true -- I have found this with a few pedals, that they sound more at home after w hile - but IVe been told everytime I say this that its impossible.... but it just seems that its like it has to get used to a new power supply or something.......

My ears agree with you - even if the electric gurus say it doesnt happen.......

it seems to take some of the fakeness off after awhile - like a river that gets comfortable with t he flow of its new path and there is less resistance to its forward movement....... or it could just be the paint fumes

Don't believe in those electric gurus. The electronic flow makes the components more comfortable after a while.

Yeah it makes sense to me anyway - no one can prove it but it would seem some measurement of eased resistance would be possible......

I don't know if it's possible to measure these things, but what's the meaning in doing it when we already know "it's" happening?

Right - I believe my ears and Im not sure anyone could adequately dissude me of what I 'believe' I hear ~ so voodoo or not, I have experienced it enough times with my own ears - it may be something else like the ears getting used to hearing something new .....


Anyway put me down for a Fetto deluxe for sure ! - #002 if its available.....
