update for 2008

Postby fugot » Mon Mar 10, 2008 12:33 am

Hi Donner,
Since you are probably wondering what you should be doing with all your free time  , maybe an update is possible. I see by registry we are over 400 hb's. I know we are up to 101 on the BPB's as well. How many folk fuzzes are we up to for instance?

Any info is appreciated, tis all good, thanks for all that is done around here. peace mike

Hi Sean,

I am glad you like the Model R. There are 37/99 units made. So you'd find the number ahaed of the dash which one of 99 possible.

Have fun

There must be more than 4 Folk Fuzzes. I think I've seen pics on 5 or 6 at least. Am I crazy ? (I take that back) Anyone know the new number ? Or is it still four.

Hi,

Well actually there are 32 Folk Fuzzes, but they have differences in how they are tuned using transistor of the day and this is indicated by the exterior paint-meaning the circuit is the same but transistors differ. All the three knobbers are Deluxe style.
There'd be groups of six with the same kind of exterior, most of them in 'kurbits' style.
Kurbits is a folk art and often found in certain parts of Sweden on furniture.
These go in shades of mostly red, mostly blue, mostly green et.c.

Right well some sort of power overload killed one computor and my Voodoo Labs PP2- the latter I could fix with benevolent help from the people at VL that sent a replacement transformer, but the files on the computor, while most can be saved and many things were anyway printed, I'll see what my sister in law can retrive.

I have updated all regular models in the first post of this thread and more to come when time allows

Gentlemen have fun and be well
BJ
