From what I've read, the MP SBOD will be released soon. As far as I know, there's a few prototypes out there, & I've seen Donner's vids & read all I can find about it, which isn't all that much. A departure for Bjorn in that it's a 4-knobber, I'd really like to read any and everything that anyone has to write about what the SBOD sounds like, & how it contrasts & compares with other BJF designs, especially the LGW, or any other pedals for that matter, & break down how the 4 controls interact. More clips would be nice if possible.
Anyone else thinking along these lines?

Well theres only a couple protos --- also the Aqua Marine Wonder Machine is a BJ/Dbx version
The level control is the only 'normal' knob
the Drive knob is kind of two or more pedals in one - the lower range is pretty different from t he upper ....
the other two knobs are unique too - basically one to adjust the pedal to the guitar and the other to the amp
the MP version should be out by NAMM if not sooner.....

Does it have a socketed chip, & if so, what chips are used/included?
Hokay... Drive & volume. What do the other 2 knobs control?
Can it run at 12 or 18vdc?

Found some more info & specs on the SBOD:
Sky Blue OD
This is an overdrive meant to both handle overdriving already distorted amplifiers as well as provide light overdrive to soft distortion on clean sounds.
For versatility it has four controls:
"DRIVE" that sets the distortion or overdrive effect.
"VOLUME" that sets output volume of effect.
"TEXTURE" that allows changing how and when the circuit distorts as well as adjusting overall EQ.
Dialing this control appears to adjust midrange, while it gives this effect from adjusting compression.
Turning CCW gives more saturated effects, easily distorted, turning CW gives a slight treble boost and less compression
( compression is used here to describe density of distortion since overall sound may be distorted throughout the dial)
"Z" or Load which is a control that creates an adjustable load to the instrument connected to the SBOD input.
With standard guitars dialing this control will adjust the upper resonant peak of the pickups,
and also affect the taper of the volume control on the guitar for easy setting of clean to distorted just from the volume control of guitar.
This effect is masked if SBOD is driven by a buffered output such as from another guitar pedal.
Input impedance 227K to 10K
Output impedance 25K
Voltage range 7.5V to 18V
Current draw at 9V DC approx 5mA

It came from Harri at Custom Sounds thru another forum member that inquired:

Can anyone compare it to the Baby Blue and Honey Bee? BJ makes so many overdrive pedals. 31 flavors in all, I believe.
