I remember reading in college a paper on colors and keys of music that they might go with.
I couldnt find the paper but did find some other interesting info on keys, colors, etc.. I thought this maybe of some interest since the sound/color/name interaction seems to be a part of the BJFE pedals.

there alot of cool links and already listed info under this site:

http://www.library.yale.edu/~mkoth/keychar.htm

scroll down mid way to get to the color and musical pitch links,,,this was one of them

http://www.harmonics.com/lucy/lsd/colors.html

theres probably alot more info out there,,anyhow thought it might be of some interest to others. :)

This could very well be true, but I would think it would be mostly a personal attachment tied to personal emotional attachments and color valuing -----

I may love the color orange and it may have a very happy reaction for me and so I would attach one of the happier notes to it etc.....

Well I know the color / sound thing is really important to Bjorn...it will be interesting to see what he has to say if he chimes in......
