Anything you would change or consider adjusting now that youve had them for a bit ???

The knobs aren't readable from the top which makes being able to tell where you're at difficult if you're standing up playing (and in turn makes adjusting on the fly a guessing game). I'd vote for the traditional BJF knobs (or any basic knob that you can read from the top). Hope that helps!

I agree with EskimoJoe that it's slightly frustrating that the knobs are so hard to read, especially when you're playing in a dark club. I like the metail knobs, but they need white indicators that are more visible.

Yup I agree - that was the best we had - one of the pots is a different size that wont take a standard BJF knob ... the next batch will have different knobs

If anyone wants to send me their H, I'll paint the stripe on the knob.

Also, just so you know, I'm going to keep it!!

Actually, this has been a good thread as I think it is important to improve the ergonomics as well as the tone. Sounds like there is already a good fix.

Its somewhat novel I believe to be able to say "fix this" and then watch it happen in products of this quality..

I was wondering if the new knobs would fit the old version of the pedal? If so, would it be possible for those of us that have the unmarked knobs to get the updated knobs?

This sparks a broader question --- if we buy an R&D pedal and provide feedback which leads to the improvement of the given pedal, will there be an opportunity for our pedal to be modded with the improvement (or traded out) or first dibs & discount toward improved model?

yes I got both those and the taller skinnier ones that I showed on the SWFuzz at http://www.smallbearelec.com and you can order them if you like - thats why I put that link up there.....

On research upgrades.....
Each pedal is what it is.....
Part of what Im doing on the Yellows is sending the tweeked one around to those that still have the first batch, as some will prefer what they have anyway - depending on the reaction Im not sure how that will go ..

the H is done - everyone preferred the upgrade from my proto and thats a CS 'Model' now like the R, 2SMV, Folk etc... and there will be more produced as BJ gets the urge ( theres a couple Hs coming in the next batch... )

We will see how the SWF and Cliff Hangers are recieve thru the winter and some other fun projects.... 8)

I really love how the whole R & D process is going, its fantastic to see a new BJF pedal coming out through the custom shop :^) the model H is certainly a pedal that many people would love to have...I am also excited at the chance i get to play the new syod that will be coming around...R & D models such as the SWF and the Cliff Hanger were released in such small batched...what are the chances of those being available to others since there are only a few sources of input?

Yeah its nice for the small groups to be able to check the trials out together and get some quick consensus - like a long distance focus group sort of
Im in the process of painting 10 snowy ~ whitish boxes so there will be another wave of SWFs at somepoint .... again the R and D / Customshop stuff is all in the spaces and cracks between the standard line when BJ has the time and desire 8)
