Both pedals with gain at about half way up, volume set to wherever you like and tone likewise. Put the screamer first. It tightens up the sound of the EGDM and tonally doesn't change it too much. I found the EGDM to almost have too much low end, and this fixed it. They complement each other very well tonewise, and don't really sound like stacked pedals. Sounds more like a really really good single pedal.

interesting....
i had a great sound last weekend when i pushed EGDM (which was set w/gain halfway up for rhythm sounds) with the LGW....super high definition lead sound, all the details of my singlecoils, lots of grit and edge. i was playing thru a 4x10 Fender Deville and it was sounding "super-british" with that setup.
i just keep discovering new combinations with BJF pedals and it drives me crazy cuz my pedalboard keeps changin all the time:-)

Hmmm the EGs voice knob rolls off bottom as it goes up (like a Vox), something that most others dont... and yes a TS will do that too, tho with the LGWs body knob it can also increase the bass, which has a different effect before or after the distortion.....

Yeah you almost need a lab book to keep successful stacking combos --- recipe book 8)

interesting, I always thought that the voice knob on the EGDM was used to fine tune the distortion if you were playing through a clean amp, a dirty amp, or a rgaing monster. Maybe this is one and the same, I didn't touch the voice knob too much when I had my first one. I will definitely play around when my new one gets here.
