It's a Deluxe kinda day - AMWM and Model V

This beautiful pair showed up at my house today.
Aquamarine Wonder Machine Deluxe and Model V Deluxe.
I'd never had an AMWM, so I figured "Why not just go crazy?". This one's got a built-in boost w/EQ and it's AMAZING. I've not had a lot of time with it, but so far I'm loving the range of gain and the tones inside this thing. I also didn't realize how much volume is on tap - I've still got it at about 9:00, which is around unity. It's such a good sounding box... it's also been cool to roll the boost's tone back for instant woman tone solos - which even works great on my Tele's bridge pickups. There's a lot more to explore, and though I thought I basically knew what to expect, I'm frankly floored. This thing is right up there with my all-time favorite Model G. In fact, I think the AMWM Dlx. will take over main overdrive duties and I'll move my Model G to my little jam board (a Strymon Deco and a tuner), where I've been really missing my overdrive tone.
Now to the Model V Dlx.... it's hard to even know where to start. I've had a nice Triangle Muff. This thing does that but even better. Added Mid control, to make it sound even more awesome and keep it from disappearing in the mix when used live. Dual, switchable Volume controls...
This thing is a beast and definitely the best that I've ever owned or heard. That's about it. I'm gonna go play it now.
