I can't review it until I've had more time with it. Mine has the bias control and I'm glad it does as it makes the pedal's variety of tones and feel seem nearly limitless. And, I'm talking limitless great tones not just variety. I first tested it after pulling it out of the mailbox and tried to warm it a bit while I put a battery in and I noticed it wasn't gooped. The pedal was rather microphonic as well as very loud when pushing the footswitch and wondered if that was the reason? I tried it today (note my music room is around 57F) and it seemed better so hopefully it was just the cold.
I have two other MKI clones that have the correct transistors (which still sound a bit different) so it will be interesting to compare them.
I will report more next week as we are gone skiing this weekend so I will be playing through my iPad sans external effects.

I had to put this together in Photoshop really quickly after hearing your demo!
